Plug your kids into what really matters - the great outdoors, using their hands, working out their brains/bodies and finding friendships - all while in the company of dogs, horses, pigs and a goat!
This weekly class will cover a different activity each week - fire building, hiking, trap fishing and fort building. During all these activities we will be teaching kids about edible wild plants and identifying animals by their tracks as we happen upon them on our adventures. Kids can take this class for one month, or continue on regularly and improve their skills and enjoy structured outdoor activities with their friends. We keep this class to a younger age group in the hopes to capture their wonder, imaginations and love for outdoor play. No tweens huffing around - just kids being kids together.
Horse Sense is located on 40 acres of incredibly diverse land - with vast grasslands, three ponds, forested areas, a spring fed creek and some of the coolest canyons/ravines you can find outside of a state park. We are delighted to get to share this incredible land with your kiddos!
